What is Vehicle Service Protection?

Vehicle Service Protection is vehicle coverage that extends beyond the manufacturer's factory warranty and covers repairs of unexpected mechanical and electrical failures. For the period of time the contract is in effect, covered components of their vehicle will be repaired in the event of failure, including labor, subject to any applicable deductible and exclusions. Choices can be made by you for a specific term and mileage.

What vehicles are eligible for Vehicle Service Protection?

Most cars, light trucks, and vans are eligible. However, eligibility for coverage is based on the year, make, model, and mileage of the vehicle. Please thoroughly review the sample contract for a full explanation of applicable exclusions as well as the terms and conditions.

Why doesn’t my vehicle qualify for different coverage?

The best available coverage will automatically be displayed based on the year, make, model, and mileage of your vehicle. Certain vehicles may not be eligible such as exotic/high performance vehicles, salvage/reconstructed vehicles, or vehicles with modifications. How do I pay for my Vehicle Protection plan(s)?

Full payment is required at time of purchase and can be made instantly online through this site. All major credit cards are accepted. Our site is fully secure and your credit card information is encrypted at the highest level of protection. In addition, your personal information remains private and will never be shared.

When will my coverage start?

Your Omega Auto Care coverage begins after the mandatory waiting period outlined in your contract. In most cases, this means protection starts 30 days after purchase and once you’ve driven at least 1,000 miles. This waiting period helps prevent pre-existing issues from being claimed. Please review your specific contract Terms and Conditions for exact details regarding your plan’s effective date.

How are repair claims filed?

If you experience a covered breakdown, simply take your vehicle to a licensed repair facility of your choice. The repair shop will contact Omega Auto Care’s claims department directly to obtain authorization before any work is performed. Once approved, Omega pays the repair facility for covered parts and labor, so you’re only responsible for any applicable deductible. This process helps ensure a smooth, hassle-free repair experience.

Can Vehicle Protection Plans be canceled?

Yes, all Vehicle Protection plans come with a (30) day “Free Look Period". You can cancel anytime within the Free Look Period and receive a 100% refund unless a claim is reported. If you cancel after the Free Look Period, you may be eligible for a partial refund. If a claim has been filed, this may affect the refund amount. Is there confirmation of purchase?

Yes, once you click ‘Complete Purchase’ on the review product page, you will be redirected to a page that will confirm your order has been processed. You will be able to download a copy of your contract from this page. You will also receive an e-mail receipt that contains your proof of purchase and your Vehicle Protection plan(s). Please be sure to review the details of your coverage, which will be included in the contract.
