Learn more about how Vehicle Protection works from start to finish!
Vehicle Service Protection is vehicle coverage that extends beyond the manufacturer's factory warranty and covers repairs of unexpected mechanical and electrical failures. For the period of time the contract is in effect, covered components of their vehicle will be repaired in the event of failure, including labor, subject to any applicable deductible and exclusions. Choices can be made by you for a specific term and mileage.
Most cars, light trucks, and vans are eligible. However, eligibility for coverage is based on the year, make, model, and mileage of the vehicle. Please thoroughly review the sample contract for a full explanation of applicable exclusions as well as the terms and conditions.

TWS First Mile VSC Plans:
Coverage begins on the date of plan purchase. The mileage expiration is determined by adding the mileage shown on the contract to the vehicle’s current odometer reading at the time of purchase. Breakdowns that occur prior to the contract purchase date, as well as any pre-existing conditions, are not included in coverage. This structure ensures transparent and consistent coverage parameters throughout the duration of your plan. Please refer to the contract Terms and Conditions for complete details regarding the effective date and mileage terms.
Veritas VSC Plans:
Coverage begins after the required 30-day and 1,000-mile waiting period from the date of plan purchase. The mileage expiration is determined by adding the mileage shown on the contract to your vehicle’s current odometer reading at the time of purchase. Breakdowns that occur during the waiting period, prior to purchase, or involving any pre-existing conditions are not included in coverage. This structure ensures clear and consistent activation guidelines and helps protect the integrity of the plan. Please refer to the contract Terms and Conditions for full details regarding effective dates, waiting-period requirements, and mileage limitations.
If your vehicle experiences a mechanical breakdown, take it to any licensed repair facility or dealership. The repair facility should contact the plan administrator for authorization before starting any repairs. Once approved, payment for covered parts and labor will be made directly to the repair facility.
